Decent older house with some updated appliances - relatively small, but very close to the Marina, and in a lower rental price range. Was quite clean when we came; yes, TV's are old and small, but I wasn't there to watch them... though, watch your step
when going downstairs, as the way is steep and tight. For the price and location highly recommend, if you are not luxury-inclined type.

If you are looking for a very basic sleep-in cabin, located 4 min walk from the beach - this is the place. The cabin wan't very clean though and the general maintanence conditions could be better.

i would recommend this property only because of the location.
Property need to be cleaned more and especially from the spider-webs, lacks of light and specially in the evening hours. Bathrooms in working but seriously outdated condition.
Positive moment - management is very responsive, everything including the internet works.
thank the owners for the kebab skewers - they were handy.

We were 3 people from Scotland using this as a base to go to Yosemite. This worked really well, was about 1 to 1.5hrs to Yosemite depending on part of park. Would def do this again. Only a couple of miles to a good store and a few restaurants. Cabin was
good size, good layout, and had all utensils, pots etc. we needed. Place was a little worn but price reflected this. Would def recommend, wish we were still there.

My family had 2 French foreign exchange students with us along with our 2 teenage boys. We wanted to see Yosemite but to accommadate all 6 of us would require 2-3 motel rooms. We found this to be an affordable alternative. We were 1 hr from the valley floor and enjoyed the lake at the property. the cabin is....rustic, comes to mind. It had everything we needed but was in need of little repairs.(not a bad thing) The realtor was quite responsive to our needs as there were a couple issues that needed tending to and they were were taken care immediately.
I would gladly return to stay with them again. Maybe next time closer to the lake, although we were only 2 blocks away to begin with.

The location of the property is perfect - 2 min walk downhill to the main beach.
Everything in the house was in good condition except cooking utensils - they were plain dirty (greasy, with dried-up food remnants on them)

Conveniently located to the main beach area and quiet. Older cabin, looks and feels like it was always meant for just weekend getaways, so expect functional not elegance. Good place to use as a place to sleep and eat. Not so great for children under 2. Some details for those who would be interested in this type of info: 1 small TV in living room, no DVD player, no other TV's. 1 rather old ping pong table in basement. Deck not safe for toddlers. No dishwasher.
