  I feel right at home when I step into the cabinet. Very cozy and yet the living room is very roomy where everyone can play, chat and have a good time at. The staff is very helpful and answer our question timely. The area is nice and calm. The lake is beautiful and fun to swim in. Just a lot of good things to say about this place. I will come back next time for our Yosemeti trip.

  Our stay was nice, but there were a few stuff I would like to mention.
  1-our garbage bin were full already and we could only add 2 smaller bags to it.(that was a pain taking care of the garbage).
  2- there was only 2 bathroom tissues and we were not told to bring it.
  3- the bed in the smaller room, was horrible. nobody could sleep on it(with the smallest move it would make lots of noise)
  4-there were too many signs about cleaning. When we went to the offic, they said it was just picking up after yourself. Your sign does not give you this impression. We spend the morrning of our check only cleaning:(

  Overall, we love this house. Just the shower in the master bedroom have indication problem, which C is hot water and H is for cold water. another problem for us is there is no signal for our cell phone, and the house phone can't make a local call too while we stay. Good things is we all fine. and We do have a good time there. Thanks!

  Our family had a great time at this location. The only one thing that we would change if we could would be the condition of the carpets which are filthy. We always had socks on because it looked gross. That's why only two stars for condiiton. Overall, the stay was great !! It is a little bit of drive to Yosemite but once you are there you won't mind. Will look for a cleaner place to stay and will need to ask about the condition before we make another reservation.

  The cabin is terrific with all the space and essentials you need plus. My only negative, and it is a mild one, is that steep drive ways that flatten out at the bottom and low profile cars don't mix. No damage here, but if you are not careful you will be without some trim. ;-)

  The home was beautiful, as well as the property. I knew my stay was too short at the end of the first day! A little difficult to find, but it also means it is away from it all, if that is what you are looking for. Very comfortable, country life, with deer to see every day. This is where I decided to spend my birthday, and I began to miss the place even before I turned over the keys. The staff were excellent!! Maps ready to direct each and everyone how to get to where you would be staying. Very helpful all the way! We will be going back!

  We enjoyed the home and location. We had 4 couples staying there, so it would have been helpful to know that the queen bed and bunks were in one room to set expectations. Otherwise, all else was exactly as described and worked well for our purposes of hiking Half Dome and having a place to come back to relax with friends.

  I found the condition of the cabin to be quite worn. Many items such as the blinds for the windows were broken and were being held together by duck tape. The barbeque grill was very dirty and old and the carpeting was much stained and looked dirty. We tried to vacuum the carpeting while we were there but the vacuum m cleaner was broken. The location was good but the owners need to invest some money to bring the place up to standards.

  We called Tracy at the RE/Max office to tell her we would be late; she said: "No problem, I'll wait for you".
  
  The land line telephone in the house was an extremely important tool for us because there is no cell phone signal in the area. We believe it is also very important to other guests; therefore, it should be the "must check" item for the property management.
  
  I would like to make two recommendations: 1. Even with the map and instructions, we got lost the first time. A physical model or a bigger map of the resort with specially displayed "one-way" gates would help guests not to circle around the resort trying to get back into the resort. 2. We were a little bit confused about the instructions for the heater. On the guest instructions, it says "turn it off when you leave." A note besides the control unit says "set it to 60 degrees." We wanted to turn it off so we won't be charged for not following the instructions. But we set it to 60 degrees because we think the temperature may get below 32 degrees in the night.

  We had a great time--enjoyed swimming in the lake, watching deer and other wildlife, and watching movies. It's probably an hour to the center of Yosemite. The only thing that would make it more comfortable would be towels and sheets. Great place!

  When we got there, the garbage can was on its side and there was garbage scattered. The only other thing was that the dishwasher was full of dishes. Overall we enjoyed the property and loved the fact that the lake and pool were at our disposal. Would be nice if checkout would be a little later.

  The cabin was just what we needed. We had plenty of open floor space for the kids, the deck area was very private and peaceful, and the rest of the house had all the comforts of home. The nearby swimming beach was uncrowded and convenient. We also liked the main swim area which was a short drive away. A very relaxing weekend!

  Location was not the greatest but for the price, it's the best steal. A little unhappy for the fact that we need to bring the garbages to the management office to be thrown away. That's 10 mins each way. Inconvenient. Overall, Location is ok. Property is clean. I would not recommand this property to people going to Yosemite National park... still an hour drive.

    Hi Patty, Thanks for visiting on Easter Weekend. We sorry for the garbage inconvenience, October to April is our Off Season and the majority of the homes do not have garbage service. If you were to visit May to September that would not be an issue. Yosemite National Park, Big Oak Flat Entrance is 25 miles from Groveland and depending on traffic it can take a bit longer.   We really enjoyed this little house. The Pine Mountain Lake complex is lovely. It's a great location close to Yosemite. This house is a little on the older side, there were some small things that were not in good condition (a living room lamp was broken when we got there, there was a small leak in the kitchen faucet), but the bedrooms were large, the bathrooms were clean and the kitchen completely functional. We really enjoyed the terrace and the barbeque. I plan to come back to this rental and would recommend it to friends.

  The location was great for exploring Yosemite and the Gold Rush towns. My kids enjoyed swimming in the lake. It was priceless to have a deer with fawns approaching the proprerty as we had a bbq on the verandah. The property was spotless and the management was flawless. The isolation brought the stars out at night. A real get-away from-it-all break. Highly recommended.

  Well the creek was dried up but the cabin was really nice. Loved the hummingbirds that visited the deck each morning. The cabin has a really nice open flow and the king bed was very comfortable, the queen bed was pretty hard though. Overall we loved the cabin but would probably stay closer to Yosemite next time.

  My family and I had a blast. We took walks each evening, swam in the community pool, soaked up the rays at the lake and ate ice cream from the snack shack. We played horse shoes and rented paddle boats too. We recommend Groveland as a great family get away close to Yosemite and all its beauty.

  We have been to CR 4 times and we just love the feel of the house and the location. My kids love going to the creek to explore. It's quiet and so beautiful. We enjoy eating our meals on the deck and we love playing in the snow on the driveway!! We will keep coming back!

  Re/max gave us the wrong key initially, so we were locked out for a while waiting for someone to come let us into the house. Other than that, it was a spectacular rental - even more beautiful and spacious than it looks in the pictures!
