If you're looking more for comfort and price, you can't beat the houses in YosemiteGold. They are very comfortable, fully stocked kitchen with utensils and appliances, nice bathrooms, comfy beds, plenty of deck and patio space, and quiet, peaceful location far away from tourists.

That said, it is far away! It took us about 30 minutes from the driveway to the Yosemite West gate, and a further 25 minutes to the Valley floor. FWIW, our family of four (two adults, two senior citizens) completely did not mind the drive as we knew that a warm house was awaiting us.
Didn't get to try out the marina or pool, but we WILL rent again and recommend highly!

We all enjoyed staying at Pine Mountain Lake and will continue to stay whenever we make a trip to Yosemite. I love waking up and looking outside and seeing the Beautiful Deer. That's one of the highlights of our stay here.
