The bottom level is a kid’s paradise: with a color TV, VCR, stereo, foosball table, air hockey table, bunk beds w/ extra long mattresses, a queen futon couch that sleeps 2, a full bath w/ tub/shower, and a slider that opens into the forest with a mini, full-court basketball court and the creek at the bottom, all encased in knotty-pine, the children will be tucked away and having a blast.
The top level has a huge master bedroom and full bath, laundry room, and a separate bistro area for two that looks out onto the forest thru the large windows from the downstairs 20-foot vaulted ceiling.
For your cooling pleasure, this house was designed with an energy efficient, alternative cooling system. Since the house is located with the sun behind it, nestled in the trees, it still gets plenty of light but stays very cool downstairs. The house has an central fan system, that when run, pulls the air from the basement room (bottom story) up thru the house, discharging the hot air out, up thru the master bedroom, keeping the entire house cool.
Or, if it’s winter, curl up on the couch in front of the wood-burning stove, sat on rustic slate tile.
